Privacy Policy — Call Recording Manager
Effective date: May 18, 2026
App: Call Recording Manager
Package name: com.callrecording.manager
Developer contact: jayneshmd@gmail.com
This Privacy Policy explains how the Call Recording Manager mobile application (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles information on your device. By installing or using the App, you agree to this policy.
1. Summary
The App helps you browse, play, and organize call-related audio files that already exist on your device.
It does not record calls itself.
It does not upload your audio, notes, contacts, or phone numbers to any server we control.
All your recordings, notes, tags, favorites, and folder settings are stored only on your device.
The App shows ads provided by Google AdMob, which may collect a limited amount of information as described below.
2. Information the App accesses on your device
The App requests only the permissions it needs to provide its features.
Permission
Why it is used
Leaves your device?
Read audio files (READ_MEDIA_AUDIO / READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE)
To list, play, share, move, and delete the call-related audio files already stored on your device.

Only to detect when a phone call ends, so the App can optionally show a “Call ended” reminder. We do not read your phone number, contacts, or call log.
No
Post notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS)
To show the optional “Call ended” reminder notification.
No
Receive boot completed
To re-enable the optional call-end reminder after the device restarts (only if you have turned it on).
No
Manage media
So you can delete or move your audio files from inside the App without an extra system prompt each time.
No
Internet / Network state
To load ads, fetch app configuration (see Section 4), and open external links you tap (e.g., Play Store, this privacy policy).
Limited — see Section 3
You can revoke any of these permissions at any time from your device’s Settings → Apps → Call Recording Manager → Permissions.
3. Information we (and our service providers) collect
The App itself does not create an account, ask for your name, email, phone number, or location.
It does, however, use the following third-party services, which may collect limited information automatically when you use the App:
3.1 Google AdMob (advertising)
The App displays banner, interstitial, and app-open ads from Google AdMob. AdMob may collect:
Device identifiers (e.g., Android advertising ID),
Device information (model, OS version, language),
Approximate location (derived from IP address),
Information about ads shown, clicked, or interacted with,
Crash diagnostics for the ads SDK.
Google uses this information to deliver and measure ads, including personalized ads where allowed. You can learn more here:

3.2 Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) – consent
Where required by law (for example, in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland), the App shows a consent form provided by Google’s User Messaging Platform before any personalized ads are loaded. Your consent choice is stored locally on your device and shared with the ad SDK so it knows whether to request personalized or non-personalized ads.
You can review or change your choices at any time from Settings → Privacy options inside the App.
3.3 Remote configuration (Google Sheets)
On launch and when the App returns to the foreground, it downloads a small CSV file from a Google-hosted spreadsheet to update non-sensitive settings such as:
Link to this Privacy Policy,
Link to the Play Store listing,
Frequency of interstitial ads.
This request is a normal HTTPS request and sends only the standard information that any internet connection sends (such as your IP address). We do not log or store this information.
4. Information stored only on your device
The following data never leaves your device unless you choose to share it (for example, by using the “Share” button on a recording):
Your audio recordings (already on the device — the App does not create or upload them).
Notes, tags, and favorite flags you attach to a recording.
Folders you create and the assignment of recordings to those folders.
App preferences (e.g., onboarding completed, consent status).
This data is held in the App’s private storage. Uninstalling the App removes notes, tags, favorites, and folder assignments. Your audio files themselves remain on the device unless you delete them.
5. Children’s privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
6. Data security
All data created by the App is stored in private, app-scoped storage on your device.
Network traffic to ad services and our remote configuration is sent over HTTPS.
We do not operate any user-account server, so there is no remote account that can be compromised.
No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We work to protect your information but cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and rights
You can:
Revoke any permission from Android system settings.
Reset your advertising ID from your device settings (Google → Ads).
Change consent for personalized ads from inside the App at any time (via Settings → Privacy options).
Delete all local app data by uninstalling the App or clearing storage from Android Settings.
Depending on where you live, you may also have rights under laws such as the GDPR (EU/UK), CCPA/CPRA (California), and similar regulations — including the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal information held by the ad providers listed above. To exercise those rights with respect to Google, please use the Google Privacy controls at https://myaccount.google.com.
8. International users
The App is offered worldwide. Information processed by third-party services (such as Google AdMob) may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, under safeguards described in those providers’ privacy policies.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App, our services, or legal requirements. When we do, we will update the “Effective date” at the top. Material changes will be highlighted inside the App or on this page. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the updated policy.
